Umunneochi Welcomes Gov Otti with Thanks and Promises for More Development

The people of Umunneochi Local Government Area in Abia State celebrated on Tuesday. They hosted the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, at a big civic reception. This was to show their appreciation for his efforts and love for the community.

1. The Mbala, Umuaku, Ngodo Road, which is 11.27km long, is almost finished and will be opened soon. This road will help farming communities and improve trade.

1. Twelve Primary Health Centres have been upgraded and equipped. This will bring quality healthcare closer to people in the grassroots.

1. The Umualom Road was built with support from the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA). This road will help people move around the area more easily.

On security, leaders reminded everyone that Umunneochi was once unsafe due to kidnappers, robbers, and ritual killers. Governor Otti changed this situation by setting up the Abia State Joint Security Taskforce, called Operation Crush. Now, peace has returned, and criminals have been dealt with.

In his speech, Governor Otti thanked the people for their support. He promised to do more for them. He assured them that more projects like roads, bridges, and hospitals are coming. The governor is known for keeping his promises and showed his commitment to continue transforming Umunneochi and Abia State as a whole.
