Tijani Galadima Promises Agricultural Growth for Adamawa State

The Adamawa State All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Tijani Galadima, has shared his campaign plans, focusing on agriculture to bring industrial growth to the state.

At a press conference on Wednesday in Yola, Galadima said that if he wins, his government will set up agricultural processing factories. This will help farmers get better value for what they produce.

“Our farmers are getting far less for what they are producing; it is those that are processing their farm products that are benefiting from our farmers’ sweat,” he said.

Galadima promised to invest heavily in agriculture to create jobs and improve the lives of young people. He believes this will change the fortunes of the people in the state.

Addressing Insecurity

Galadima mentioned that tackling insecurity would be a top priority for his government to help farming in the state.

“Insecurity has affected food production in Adamawa State. Majority of the farmers are having challenges accessing their farms, but we are going to ensure that we address the issue immediately we take over the mantle of leadership,” he said.

He called on the people of Adamawa State to trust him with their votes. Galadima promised he would not let them down in his duties as governor.

He also said his government would build on the good work done by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, aiming for a brighter future for the people.

Focus on Issues

Galadima urged other candidates to avoid negative campaigning. He wants them to stick to discussing their plans and ideas rather than attacking each other.

“We should focus on what we can do for the state. Instead of name-calling other contestants, let us sell our blueprint and allow Adamawa people to vote for their choice,” he said.

He added that his experience in federal government service makes him the best candidate for the job. He believes he can continue the progress made by the current administration.
