MeCure Industries Plc has named Anderline Dukor as its new Chief Executive Officer. This comes as the company decides to drop its co-CEO setup for a single CEO leadership structure.

The company also announced that Arjun Udani will be the Executive Director for Operations and Finance.

These appointments are part of a bigger change in the company's leadership. The news was shared in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

The change in leadership will start on 1 August. The board made this decision after looking closely at the company's goals, operations, and governance.

The company said, “Following a comprehensive review of the Company’s strategic priorities, operational requirements and governance framework, the Board concluded that a unified leadership structure will further enhance strategic execution, accelerate decision-making, strengthen accountability and position the Company to deliver its next phase of sustainable growth.”

Under the new setup, Mrs Dukor will manage the company’s strategic direction and overall performance. She will also lead the long-term growth plan, improve operations, engage stakeholders better, and create value for shareholders.

In his new position, Mr Udani will handle the company’s manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and other key operations. He will work closely with the CEO to carry out the company's strategic goals, boost operational efficiency, and maintain financial discipline.

The board shared its confidence in the new leadership team. They praised the team for managing the company well during the time of the dual leadership.

The board stated, “The Board believes that the transition to a single CEO model reflects the Company’s evolving strategic priorities, governance maturity and long-term ambitions.”

The company believes that Ms Dukor and Mr Udani's appointments will bring together strong leadership, industry know-how, and a solid track record.

The company expects these changes to boost its competitive edge, speed up sustainable growth, and increase long-term value for shareholders.
